I used to live not far from Crawley &amp; once went to the Rocket (what a sh*t hole).



I think that the band have got stuck really. From Three Imaginary Boys to Pornography, there were huge changes in style and sound.

Japanese Whispers was a bit of a culture shock, but I guess it opened them up to a wider audience (mostly teenage girls who did their make up in the dark).
