Hi everyone... Im new around here. My name is Nick and I'm friends with your administrator and resident cutie pie Lywin. Im 23 and Im from Ontario. Im a pretty new fan of the cure considering theyve been around since the late 70s but I would say my tastes in their music and knowledge of the band is more geared towards their earlier works. I own a small handful of records and I have quite the collection of videos as well as other tidbits on my computer so if anyone here needs any files feel free to shoot me a PM or add me on msn! Laughing

-Nick

Hi all.
I am Steve & I live in Hungary.
Moved here at the end of 2000 & had to leave my vynil collection back in UK, as it was too heavy to carry.
Anyway, it is safe (I hope).
As a result, I am now looking to pick up on my collection again, in digital formats, so if there are any interesting bits & bobs out there somewhere, I would be greatful if someone could point me in the right direction.

Have been a Cure fan since I first heard Faith & although the more recent material is a little samey (& let's face it, a bit whiney), there are still a few gems there to remind me of why I took a shine to them.
Glad the delux editions are available now & coupled with join the dots, I can really enjoy the good times again.

Cheers,

Steve

Hi

My name is Brendan, I'm down under in Tasmania, Australia.

Glad to find a new forum on The Cure! I guess you guys are hoping to see some new faces, as am I, so hopefully some more people will catch the bug and start making presence felt in here!

I have been a fan for just under a year, but I am hoping to build my collection to all of the albums... and I would like to source some vinyl but I realise that won't be easy as I'm sure some of the original pressings would be in demand and have some provinance. But hey, it's worth a try!

So I'm a 20 year old, I've been messing around with my old Sammick bass since I was 16... I tried to play metal in the past, but at the moment I am addicted to the basslines in A Forest, and of course the classic cheesy jazz riffs of The Lovecats... I love grooving out to that line, it makes me feel like... *gasp* almost a talented musician! It's a nice fantasy...

Long live the voyage to the deep green sea.
