So, who wants to talk about the cure then?
I used to live not far from Crawley & once went to the Rocket (what a sh*t hole).
I think that the band have got stuck really. From Three Imaginary Boys to Pornography, there were huge changes in style and sound.
Japanese Whispers was a bit of a culture shock, but I guess it opened them up to a wider audience (mostly teenage girls who did their make up in the dark).
The Top, just plain weird!
Then a steady improvement up to Disintegration.
Since then, with the exception of possibly Bloodflowers, they appear to have stayed in the same place musically.
Who thinks that they are better now, then say the Kiss era?
